Starting with Maryn - this gal ran into her new classroom on Day 1 and hasn't looked back since. She loves school, loves her friends, would go every single day if we would let her. The teachers say she is "an angel", which is completely opposite to how she behaves at home. :) She's mastered her colors, some of her numbers, a handful of letters, lots of songs, and enjoys scribbling with pens and markers (not crayons). Due to her birthday and missing the cut-off by 2 days, she'll repeat PreK 2 again next year.

And now Mr JB - also has grown and changed so much this year! He's still the one we have to motivate about school (nothing to do with schools and the teachers, but he's just a homebody); however, once he's there, he really enjoys his friends and activities. The teachers always send wonderful reports on him, too. JB is a very inquisitive child, and asks a lot of very good questions. He's very good with numbers, and is pretty close to learning all his letters, too. (I think he finds letters fairly boring - he's much more of a STEM kid.) Next year it's PreK 4 and his last year before Kindergarten!!!!

Love these smart and sweet kiddos! Can't wait for a fun-filled summer without any structure or scheduled activities! (HA, um, just kidding, I am frantically trying to arrange as much as I can to keep these kiddos occupied. I don't want to send our sweet nanny over the edge!!)
