The weather could not have been better! Mid 70 degree temps, lots of sunshine, not a cloud in the sky. Most all of the animals were out and about, sunning themselves and enjoying the nice day.
Gia brought all the kids matching sunglasses. Big hit with the kiddos (and needed with all that sunshine!)
Many of the animals were the same from last time, but a recent addition is the World Georgia Famous Weather Prognosticator - General Beauregard Lee (the groundhog). Not sure what he predicted this year, but seemed like it was 16 more weeks of winter (since the kiddos had to wear a coat as late as last week!!!)
The grounds are seriously gorgeous, and it's fun just to watch around and enjoy the views. Thankfully we hauled the strollers (which not one kid wanted to ride in...)
James swiped some coins from JB (inside joke) so that we could feed the fish, turtles and geese. They were hungry little suckers.
Then us humans all set up a picnic at the playground while the kiddos got to run around, climb, slide, and be silly.
(Although you would have never known, this smiley, happy baby is rocking a 101 fever. Didn't realize until we got home - but can you blame us? Look at those sweet, gummy smiles!)
Such a fun day!! I'm already google searching for more half-way meeting points because these cousins sure have fun together.
