HBD Cousin Addison! And Welcome Charlie!

Our sweet little cousin, Addison, is now FIVE YEARS OLD! We had a blast celebrating her up in Atlanta.  And, welcoming to the Cousin Crew the newest member: baby Charlie.

The Sassers rented out Hippo Hop for Addison and all her friends, and these kids had a BLAST jumping, climbing and slides.  Oh, and the massage chair. :)

After the party, we went back to their house and then I got to snuggle sweet baby Charlie until it was time to go home. Well, or really until JB took him and wouldn't let anyone else hold him!

This Cousin Crew has now grown to six, and they are one lucky group to have such a wonderful Gia.  I am so grateful we're close and they can grow up together!

A Fun Fall

I can't totally close out the Fall without including a few other fun things we squeezed in!

JB and I participated in the Monster Dash again. He was determined to medal in the 1 Miler - and he did!! He came in 2nd in his age group, which was quite a full one. (I came in first again for my age group, which had about 3 people, ha).

The kids participated in the costume contest as well, and Wesley won his age group. Then they went on the candy walk and accumulated so. much. sugar.

Maryn pulled out so many teeth that I stopped counting.  She would let them dangle for a long time then pull them out in public.

The kiddos has Red Ribbon week, which meant a coordinated outfit every day.  Red, camo, PJs and costumes!

The school also had a little Fall Festival, and while parents couldn't go the teacher sent us some pics.

Sweet Wesley had a field trip out to Meadows Chase Farm, and I enjoyed spending the morning with him and his little PreK 3 class (just like I have so many years, with his older siblings).

On Halloween weekend we hosted a baby shower for my dear friend, Lindsay.  She loves blue and white, and so blue and white pumpkins and ginger jars made for the loveliest backdrop.

Even Maryn and JB's tennis instructor got into the Halloween spirt during practice!

James and I attended the wedding of one of our GovStrive employees, dressing up and dancing away at the Dublin Country Club.

(Then that Monday I came down with COVID...geez...but fortunately I had very mild symptoms - thank you, vaccine! - and James did a fantastic job holding down the fort.  Even when Maryn jumped off the top bunk and broke her foot!)

James and JB spent a lot (a LOT) out at the farm, trying to shoot the big buck they've been tracking all season.  I went out one night and we didn't see a dang thing. But we did enjoy the sunset.

We ended November with a lovely Thanksgiving with our Gia, eating at the DCC and enjoying a quiet day at home.

This doesn't seem to capture even half of all the stuff we did.  Such a full (and fun!) Fall! With so, so much to be thankful for.
