JB is 2 years + 4 months!

Another month has passed and JB is now a third of the way through his third year!  Still funny, still a handful, still a total stinker who wins the hearts of his friends, family and teachers.  Now I can say that he's also a full blown communicator, as his language skills have exploded this month.  He repeats, says full sentences, sings entire songs, and tries really hard to pronunciate correctly.  We are so proud!!! We love to hear his little voice, and that huge smile when we applaud him for learning a new word or phrase.

Some other things that we want to remember about him at this specific age:

• Loves cheesy eggs with shredded carrots (just like Mama and Grammy)
• In fact, JB just loves CHEESE in general and would eat it every single meal
• Loves to peel oranges and bananas all by himself (but only eats them about 50% of the time)
• He's a nose picker and booger eater right now.  Drives us nuts…

(And he knows it so he does it just to get a reaction!)

• Hates, hates, hates washing his hair, but loves to wash Sissy in the bath.  Ironically he requests "I wash Sissy's hair?" every night (and gets very disappointed when I don't let him)
• He's very helpful with Maryn in general.  "I wake Sissy up!" is one of his favorite tasks each day, and he runs up the stairs, opens her door, opens the shutters, and tells her "HI!"  When it's bedtime or nap time, he also loves to rock Maryn.   He does not require (nor want) assistance for any of these things. 
• JB wants you to fix your coffee when you fix his milk so that we can all drink them together in the living room in the mornings.  When he asks for his vitamin, he insists that you take your vitamin, too, and that we give Enda her medicine.  
• Wheels on the Bus is JB's jam, but he can also sing "Baa Baa Black Purple Sheep", the "ABCs", and "Happy Birthday".  
• He can read "Brown Bear, Brown Bear", too!
• JB loves to announce when Maryn has spit up, or if someone is pooping.  (Please note, if you go into the bathroom JB will run around and tell everyone that you are pooping.  Even if you are not.) 

I could probably name a million other funny things that JB does on a daily basis.  We so love this little guy.
