Some Big Milestones for Miss M!

Maryn has reached a big milestone - big girl panties!  She's sporting them every day now (except for naps and night time), keeping them dry and clean.  We started this adventure several months ago, but struggled with...ahem...numero dos.  Girlfriend just couldn't get on board with doing that in the potty. She'd ask for a diaper when nature called.  I am not sure what clicked, but something finally did last week. Yea!!

We had promised that she could pick out a BIG TOY when she conquered #2. Fulfilling our promise, we headed to the Super Center and she perused the aisles.  She excitedly found a new baby doll that came with a "cah seat". 

  

Can we talk about how much she loves this baby?  She carts it around everywhere, and "mothers" the baby all day long. I catch her swaying and shushing, "nursing", and tucking her into the cradle each night (with a million blankets - definitely not a safe sleep environment!)  This is certainly normal for many children, but new for Maryn (who hasn't shown much interest in babydolls).  This baby - who she named "Maggie" - is very loved.  (She's a great new sister to her other baby doll, named "Poopie".) 

Yea for Maryn! Such a grown up little girl! Two down, only one more to go until we're DIAPER FREE!!!!!
