Christmas time is here! It's been in full swing the past several weeks, and we are pretty much READY for the actual day. Just a few things that we've been up to:
First, they brought back the Christmas Parade! Yea! The kids had a blast. Wesley doesn't remember every attending a parade, so it was all new (and fun!) to him.
We met up with our neighbors for the parade, then turned around the next weekend and hosted our annual Christmas brunch. This is our quaran-team, who has counted on each other throughout this pandemic for support and fellowship, and we loved the morning together.
The kids celebrated 12 days of Christmas at school with sugary treats, movies, more sugary treats, PJ day, Grinch day, MORE SUGARY TREATS. We're never going to get them off this sugar high! (Thankful to M's sweet teacher who is so good about texting me pictures!)

Wesley also had a school performance and class party, but sadly parents still aren't able to attend! We better be back to normal by next year, because this Mama isn't going to miss out on her last year of preschool parties.
We've worked hard to remind kids of the reason we celebrate this season, and how we can honor the birth of Jesus by giving to others (through toy drives and other organizations that bring blessing to others).
And this season is just getting started! Still lots of other fun things on the calendar, and I can't wait to enjoy the joy of Christmas. (And then also get a little breather once we hit January, haha)
